Why are these Amendments necessary? Laws are
currently being considered, proposed and passed, which will prohibit
speaking out against certain things which the Bible clearly says
are sins. It will soon be a crime, hate crime or otherwise
unlawful to publicly share viewpoints consistent with the Word of God that clearly declares these
sins. We are making an organized effort to
protect and insure our ability to share the whole counsel of God's Word without fear of punishment,
persecution or imprisonment.
Why do you list so many sins, and so many ways and
means to share your faith? We believe that one sin is as
another. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,
any sin will separate us from God. The Amendment language
requires that we be specific and thorough in describing all areas of
concern and all areas requiring protection of speech. We do not
focus on one particular sin, only the need of all people to repent of
their sins and to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Why don't we just share the love and forgiveness of
Christ?
Won't these Amendments be divisive?
The Bible says that the cross is an offense to those who are
perishing. God is a God of love,
mercy and grace, but He is also a righteous judge and must judge
the sin. It is loving, and showing the love
of God, to declare the full counsel of God's Word. God warns us in His
Word because He loves us. He tells us what is sin and that we
need to repent of our sin. He also tells us that we can have
forgiveness of our sins, by repenting and receiving Jesus Christ as our
Lord and Savior.
Why do we need the Amendments?
Don't we already
have this protection and these rights of freedom
of speech?
Our rights are quickly eroding as laws are being passed and judges are
changing what the founding fathers
have established. We had these rights. Many want to take God and His Word completely out of public
life. All we want is the constitutional right to share our faith,
share Jesus Christ,
share the full counsel of God's Word. We are slowly being
prevented from doing that. The right to worship and teach God's
Word without it being a crime, in the church, on the street,
etc. We are to obey Jesus Christ and His Word, the
Lord instructs us to go to the highways and byways and invite
them to the wedding.
Matt 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matt 22:9
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
